ICT as a constructive tool means a tools that can be used for manipulating information, constructing one's own knowledge or visualizing one's understanding. It enhance learning by providing interactive and engaging resources, promoting collaboration among students and developing essential skills. In a way, it enable learners to produce tangible product for given instructional purpose.
ICT provides a vast pool of information through the internet, libraries, and educational databases. This allows students or learners to actively build their understanding of a topic by gathering and analyzing information from various sources. ICT tools like graphic design software, simulation programs, and even basic presentation software allow users to express their ideas and understanding visually. This can be particularly helpful for learners who benefit from visual aids or prefer creative ways to represent information.
Conventional lectures may be passive, with the audience only taking in the material. Students can become active participants with the use of constructive tools like educational applications, project-based learning with technology, and simulations. Through practical investigation, they interact with the content, work through issues, and expand their understanding.

One of the example of constructive tool used in classroom for teaching and learning is C map or Concept map. C map or concept map is software visualizing ideas and connections between them can spark creativity, improve brainstorming sessions, and aid in information recall.
